The meeting will be held in the Academic Conference Center at Husova 4a, Prague 1 near the place, where Chistian Doppler delivered in 1842 his lecture "Uber das farbige Licht der Doppelsterne und einiger anderer Gestirne des Himmels", where he described that the observed frequency of a wave depends on the relative speed of the source and the observer, which was later called the Doppler principle. The venue is within walking distance of the hotels recommended on the Accommodation page. Data projectors will be provided and there will also be a PC available for those who wish to bring their talk on a memory stick. The PC will be able to display presentations in PowerPoint, OpenOffice.org and PDF.
